Synopsis

The film opens in 1920, with the Osage Nation at the height of its prosperity. However, the good times don't last long. Soon after oil is discovered on Osage land, members of the tribe begin to be murdered. The BIA is called in to investigate, and they quickly discover that the murders are not random acts of violence.

As the investigation continues, it becomes clear that the Osage murders are part of a larger conspiracy to steal the tribe's land and mineral wealth. The conspiracy involves a number of high-ranking Osage officials, as well as members of the white community.

The film follows the investigation of the murders, as well as the impact they have on the Osage community. The film also explores the themes of greed, corruption, and betrayal.
